Best place to interact with sea birds is Seawolf Park in Galveston, particularly in the winter. If they think you are fishing, they become your new best friend and you find yourself surrounded by a sea of birds as you reel in. These have their eye on a fisherman, waiting to beg a handout.
About Melinda Patrick
Named by Southwest Art Magazine one of "12 Texas Painters to Collect" Melinda Patrick began developing her art when she was a very young child. Her paintings are her vision of the places she loves, the colorful cityscapes and ordinary people that catch her eye. Melinda received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. While in public school, she attended the scholarship class at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. She lives in a pine forest near her native Houston.
